75th Anniversary Season - Club Day

As I’m sure most of you will know this will be our 75th anniversary season and to mark the occasion we’ll be hosting some show piece events throughout the year.

This all starts with our Club day on Saturday 7th September. Events include...
• 6 aside tournament (ages 13 years plus)
• Junior section session
• Bouncy Castle and assault course inflatables
• Ice cream van
• Hot food throughout the day
• Live music and club social in the evening
• Gin bar and selection of real ales

This is very much an open club event and we encourage you to bring friends and family, especially those who may be interested in playing!

If you wish to join the 6-aside tournament, please message James Pentecost to confirm your place. The cost will be £20, £15 for under 18s. That includes tournament entry, your playing shirt, hot food after the tournament, and entry to the evening entertainment. We think it’s great value, but please let James Pentecost know if the cost is prohibitory for your entry.

Teams will meet to pay/collect shirts in the clubhouse (or just outside if it’s nice) at 12pm.
You will not have to create your own teams, like the Groundhog Day event. Teams will be selected names and shirts assigned and captains appointed. Though proposals for team names/volunteers for captaincy and umpiring would be gratefully received.

Finally, we’ll need plenty of volunteers to help us organise things on the day, so please consider putting yourself forward when the time comes
