OW's buoyed by 2 good results so far started brightly again. Pressure from a short corner led to George Dann's excellent high shot being defended by a defenders neck resulting in a penalty flick. This was expertly despatched by Andy Routledge for a deserved OW lead, whilst the confused young GK Yousif was ushered away from his goal. Further pressure went unrewarded and OWs were pegged back by a good move by Anch's down the right, and the goal put away by one of their youngsters. Steady pressure was applied by both sides until a short corner was skilfully slotted home by Ian Harper to give the lead back to OWs. This was soon extended when an Andy Routledge "Hollywood" pass was finally controlled by a 5s player. After being expertly miscontrolled by Harper, Dean Harvey picked up the pass and turned for goal. Some fumbling one handed control was followed by an early shot which the advancing keeper parried, only to fall back at Harvey's stick. He then rounded the keeper and with eyes closed swept the ball into the goal. The second half was distinctly fragmented with firm tackles and green cards for Andy Routledge and the unlucky Tommy McGrath, who clearly didn't hear the whistle, but did anyone? However, despite strong pressure and moaning from the opposition OWs got their 4th with a smart move and solid strike from Harper from the right. There were a couple more close misses and a disallowed goal for the visitors due to the ball not leaving the "D" from a short corner, but the young defence, with the vast experience of Dave Routledge, held strong again. Man of the Match = Dean Harvey
