OWHC Annual Dinner – 14th April 2018
It’s that time of year again when thoughts turn to the Annual Hockey Club Dinner. This year we have decided to have a change of venue and the dinner will now be held in the Cavalier Suite at the King Charles Hotel, Gillingham on 14th April 2018. The cost this year is £35 per head.
The dress code will remain the same – Black tie preferred, and arrival will be 6pm for a 6:30pm sit down. Carriages at midnight.
Another change to the evening is the menu…I can hear the cheers from here. This year you all have a choice of what you would like to eat!
The menu choices are as follows:
Atlantic Prawn Cocktail with Brown bread and butter
Smooth Liver Pate with Brandy Melba toast and chutney
Warm Honey Chicken Fillet Salad
Poached Breast of Chicken with a chasseur sauce
Roulade of Pork rolled with an apricot and herb stuffing
Roasted Vegetable Wellington
All served with a selection of Vegetables and Potatoes
Chocolate Fudge Cake
Deep Filled New York Cheesecake
with summer fruit compote
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Freshly Ground Coffee or Tea

Please complete & return the attached slip on the letter, no later than 24th March 2018, along with your menu choices in order that table plans can be submitted to the hotel. Please pass your slips, preferably in a sealed envelope, to anyone of the social committee: Vikki King, Gary Bage, Josh Sullivan, Ashley Pentecost or Jacob Newnham.
Details of how to get to the King Charles Hotel can be found on their website - http://www.kingcharleshotel.co.uk. Parking is available at the hotel. The King Charles hotel have reserved 15 rooms for our function therefore if you would like to book in to the hotel please quote Old Williamsonians Hockey Club upon booking. Rates start from £65 per night.
